Anatol Stepanenko artysta z Ukrainy, rysunek i znalezione obiekty
Anatol Stepanenko (born in 1948, Irpin) is an iconic Ukrainian artist of the era of independence. He mastered the basics of artistic literacy at the Kyiv Art and Industrial Technical College (now Mykhailo Boychuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design). In 1973, he moved to Lviv, where he graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (now the Lviv National Academy of Arts). It was in Lviv, among local intellectuals, that his creative formation took place. He became one of the first artists who practiced varieties of actionism in the art of the 1970s. In the early 1980s, A. Stepanenko studied at directing courses in Moscow. The artist is the author of the first postmodern Ukrainian films of the late 1980s, in which the stylistic deconstruction of the plot manifested itself for the first time. During 1993‒1998 he worked in Switzerland.
